Hooded Cloak and Muff

Der Schnitt für diesen Umhang stammt aus dem wunderschönen Buch "Costume Close-up, Clothing Construction and Pattern 1750-1790" . The pattern for the cloak is from the "Costume Close-Up, Clothing Construction and Pattern 1750-1790" . Das Original aus der Sammlung der Colonial Williamsburg Foundation ist aus roter Wolle (Loden), ich habe für meinen Umhang Wolle aus meinem Stofflager in rosenholz verwendet. The original from the collection of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation is made of red wool (broadcloth), I chose wool in rosewood from my stash. Im 20. Jahrhundert wurde das Original nachträglich mit Seide gefüttert. Die Schlitze für die Arme habe ich weggelassen, als Verschluss verwendete ich Haken und Ösen. The original was lined with silk in the 20th Century. I left out the arm slits and used hooks and eyes for the closure. Neues Jahr, neue (Näh-)Projekte! Ich hoffe ihr seid alle gut ins Neue Jahr gerutscht!?! New Year, new (sewing-) projects! I wish you all a Happy New Year!!! Ich bin wieder voller Vorfreude darauf, viele neue und auch alte Projekte dieses Jahr zu vollenden. In diesem Jahr werde ich an The Historical Sew Monthly 2016 teilnehmen. Die erste Challenge hat mich ganz besonders angesprochen - und sofort motiviert ein Kleid wieder auf meinen Nähtisch zu bringen, das ich vor 1 1/2 Jahren begonnen habe! I´m looking forward to complete many of my new and old projects. This year I will participate The Historical Sew Monthly 2016 .
